Who we are:

David Sisco (Founder & President) is the author of HERE I AM: A MUSICAL PERSONAL AD, VARIATIONS ON A THEME OF YOU, BAIT n’ SWISH and with Tom Gualtieri FALLING TO EARTH and I’M AFRAID, YOU’RE AFRAID: 448 THINGS TO FEAR AND WHY. A winner of the 2010 NATS Composition Award, David’s art songs have been heard at concerts produced by Friends & Enemies of New Music, New Music New York, Joy in Singing, Lyricfest and Songfest. The 2014-2015 season brought both his Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center debuts. David has been commissioned by Manhattan Girls Chorus, Cayuga Vocal Ensemble, Minnesota State University Moorhead Concert Choir and Mirari Brass Quintet. He was a member of The Marble Choir for over twelve years and recorded four CDs with the ensemble, including the premiere recording of his “Awake, My Heart.” David has taught voice at Northeastern and Suffolk University, and currently teaches at Marymount Manhattan College. He also leads masterclasses around the country on preparing contemporary art song and musical theatre. David has presented at NATS and NMTA national conferences as well as the International Congress of Voice Teachers in Brisbane, Australia. With Alexandra Foucard he formed a cabaret duo entitled Comes Love, which performs in New York, Provincetown and internationally. www.davidsisco.com

Laura Josepher (VP Business Development) recently directed SEARCHING FOR ROMEO for the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). The show won the NYMF/Stage Rights Publishing Award. She has directed two concerts for The Directory: BINDERS FULL OF WOMEN’S SONGS at 54 Below, and A CELEBRATION OF CONTEMPORARY MUSICAL THEATRE at Second Stage Theater, and well as directing VOW at Marymount Manhattan College, which was an original musical workshop created in conjunction with The Directory. Other credits include a workshop of Tom Gualtieri and David Sisco’s musical FALLING TO EARTH at Syracuse University, David Sisco’s BAIT ‘n SWISH; at Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston: DIRTY BLONDE, THE TURN OF THE SCREW and I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE; at Gallery Players: ANNA CHRISTIE for Lilli Theatreworks: SUCCESSFUL STRATEGIES: at Provincetown Rep. and HUGHIE. For Rattlestick Productions: WINNING and the award winning CAR POOL. Laura has a Master of Arts in Educational Theatre, and a Bachelor of Music, both from New York University.
